An IBCLC is the highest accredited health professional specializing in the evidence-based clinical management of lactation. IBCLCs provide care in various settings and contribute as members of the maternal-child health team. IBCLCs are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Inc., under the direction of the US National Commissions of Certifying Agencies. IBCLCs complete the required training to become experts completing 90 hours of lactation-specific education and 300-1,000 hours of hands-on clinical hours. IBCLCs must also work to maintain their accreditation and earn their recertification every five years.

Yes, we understand how crucial it is to reach out for support when you need it, and babies can’t tell time. We provide phone and video consultants 6pm-midnight Monday- Friday and scheduled in-home or video consultations on weekends.
